My name is Danielle Schuster, and I teach 4th and 5th grade. This is my sixth year at St. Clare and my seventh year teaching at a Catholic school. I graduated from Concordia University in 2011 with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Spanish. I have always wanted to be a teacher because children see the bright-side of most things, and always keep an open mind. They are a constant reminder to me that staying positive can make life easier! I love that I have been able to teach in Catholic schools. Being able to share my faith, and to openly talk about it with the students has always been a highlight. I love teaching at St. Clare because the families and the students make me want to come to work everyday. My husband, Bucky, and I have two sons, Landon and Braxton. We also have a chocolate lab named Tanner. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. In the summer we love to be outdoors and go camping.

My name is Amy Bohman, and I teach language arts and science in sixth through eighth grade. This is my fourth year at St. Clare teaching language arts and my second year teaching science. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire in 2006 with a degree in Middle Childhood through Early Adolescents Education and a minor in general science. After discovering my passion for teaching reading and writing, I attended Viterbo University in 2016 to earn my reading teacher certification. I began my teaching career at a small Catholic school in Bloomington, Wisconsin, where I stayed for 7 years before wanting to move back closer to family. It was there that I fell in love with Catholic schools and all they have to offer. I love being able to bring Christ into my teaching and interactions every day. It was a heartbreaking decision to leave my school in Bloomington, however, after being hours away for college in Eau Claire and hours away teaching in Bloomington, it was time to come home to Northeast Wisconsin. I feel so blessed to have found a home here. St. Clare feels like family to me. I love that St. Clare has a supportive parish and wonderful families. I had the opportunity to bring forensics to St. Clare a few years ago, and it was embraced with open arms. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy reading, crafting, and spending time with my family.

Mrs. Jill Kola

BSE Mathematics from UW Oshkosh +42 Graduate Credits in area of Education
Wis. DPI License Type: T001-Teacher
Email: jkola@stclareagw.org

I teach students math, religion and social studies in grades 6 thru 8. I have been teaching in Catholic schools for the past 24 years (10 years at St. Clare) and can’t imagine doing anything else! I have a BS degree in Math Education from UW Oshkosh in grades 6 - 12 and I love my Catholic faith, so for me this is the best of both worlds. I have a special love for the Saints of our Catholic Church and enjoy teaching St. John Paul II’s Theology of the Body to the eighth graders. Middle School students are my favorite age as they are so interested in learning about the truth in the world. I appreciate that St. Clare school ranges from grades PK - 8, which results in a strong family like bond between students families and staff.

Wis. DPI License Type: T001-Teacher

My name is Jennifer Van Helvoirt and I teach 4K at St. Clare School. All of my teaching has been in Catholic schools. Since my first year teaching at a Catholic School I knew that a vocation in Catholic education would be an essential part of my life. I feel blessed to be a small part of a larger mission in which teachers build upon the Catholic faith that parents instill in their children. It brings me great joy to share the love of God and Jesus with our school’s youngest children. As parents of four children ourselves, my husband and I appreciate that our school’s Catholic faith and identity is the foundation for education at St. Clare from the earliest years through the oldest students. As a family, we enjoy campfires, getting together with family, getaways, helping others and being active in our faith.

I am the kindergarten teacher at St. Clare Catholic School. I did my student teaching at a Catholic school and loved it so much that I have continued for the past 30+ years. I enjoy teaching at St. Clare where I can share my faith and help the children learn stories and songs about God. It is also nice to be able to celebrate the church seasons and traditions. My 20 years at St. Paul School and the last several years at St. Clare have been wonderful. I have been blessed to be a part of this family and it is a joy to be teaching the next generation of learners. My husband Bob and I enjoy gardening, kayaking, travelling and going to our cabin. I have three boys, two are married and my youngest is a freshman at NWTC. We also have two dogs and a cat.

Mrs. Laurel Van Eperen
1st Grade
UW-Green Bay, 2011
Wis. DPI License Type: T001-Teacher
Email: lvaneperen@stclareagw.org

I teach 1st Grade at St. Clare Catholic School. I graduated from UWGB in 2011 with a Major in Elementary/Middle Age Education, and a Minor in Psychology. I have been a teacher at St. Clare since 2013. I taught general music, band and choir for 3 years, and 3K for two years before I began teaching 1st Grade in 2017. I love being able to teach and incorporate faith into my daily lessons at school. There are many opportunities to share, teach, and pray during each school day. I believe that helping to build the faith of our students gives them the tools they need to handle their struggles each day. I have lived in the Wrightstown/Greenleaf area since 1994 with my husband Bernie, and our three beautiful children, Rachel, Matthew, and Daniel. In my free time, I enjoy being with my family at our cabin in Lakewood and traveling as much as possible!

Mrs. Stephanie Bartosch
Early Childhood: 4K Aide
Wis. DPI License Type: T910-Teaching

This is my 4th year as the 4K Aide at St. Clare Catholic School. I have two daughters that attend, Lilli is in 6th grade and Alli is in 3rd. I chose to not only send my kids to a Catholic school, but to also work for one because of the smaller family-like feel of the environment. I love that all of the teachers know all of the students and vice versa. I think that it helps our children to grow, understand and live their best life as children of God. I have a degree in Elementary Education, with a minor in early childhood. I’ve spent the last 13 years teaching or aiding at every age from infant to 12 years old. I love teaching and working with children, as it is so fulfilling and always funny to hear what they come up with when they’re being goofy. Besides our two daughters at St. Clare’s, my husband Nick and I also have a Junior named Zoe and a black lab named Gizmo. As a family we like to hang out, watch movies, play games and go on trips.

Email: jvangrinsven@stclareagw.org

I am the physical education teacher at St. Clare Catholic School. This is my first year teaching as I recently graduated from UWO in 2018 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical and Health Education along with Adapted Physical Education. Since I decided to become a teacher I have always loved helping students grow and develop their skills along with their faith. This is why St. Clare is a great place to teach. Students are always excited to come to class each and every day. They are willing to learn and eager to improve which is a blessing in itself. When I am not here, I also teach at Holy Spirit in Kimberly. I also enjoy most things to do with physical education; being active, being outdoors, seeing the world and trying new things.

Mrs. Ellen Diny
BFA, Cardinal Stritch University
Email: ediny@stclareagw.org

I am the art teacher for grades 4K through 8th at St. Clare School. This is my fourth year of teaching, all of which have been at St. Clare School. My goal as an art teacher is to bring excitement, enjoyment and fun to the students through a variety of art projects and mediums. I also would like to cultivate a talent or interest in art they may not know they possess. Since I was very young I have always had a passion for art and teaching at St. Clare gives me the chance to share my knowledge with others from the God who gifted it to me. I feel very blessed to be working with such great students, parents and staff who feel Catholic education is so important for our youth. I have had 12 years of Catholic education and earned a Bachelor Of Fine Arts degree from Cardinal Stritch University, Milwaukee, WI. My husband Roger and I have been married for 28 years and our four children have attended and graduated Catholic school. We are a busy family and love spending time together but when I do get some down time I like to read, draw, watch movies, go for walks, sing in the choir, being active in my faith and go shopping for new art ideas.
