STAR360: Student Assessments
The Diocese of Green Bay requires all Catholic School students to take the STAR360 standardized tests for Math and Reading/Literacy as a means of measuring academic growth.
The STAR360 Assessment is part of the Renaissance Learning Corporation, which is committed to administering secure, reliable, and valid assessments for tracking student growth and supporting instruction.
To maintain data-informed best practices that support each child's God-given, unique, and cherished learning abilities, the data can assist in tracking academic progress from Fall, Winter, and Spring assessments.
STAR Early Literacy: Kindergarten and First Grade
STAR Reading: 2nd-8th Grades
STAR Math: 2nd-8th Grades
The Early Literacy test assesses mathematical and literacy concepts in the same short test for younger students.
As students progress in their development, the STAR Reading and STAR Math are independent assessments that each take approximately 30-40 minutes to complete.

Parent Reports:
Baseline reports will be shared at Parent-Teacher Conferences in October
Winter and Spring Results will be sent home in the Family Folders.

Freckle: Learning Support
Differentiated instruction for Math and ELA lessons. This platform allows students to seek additional practice and learning on specific skills for targeted improvement.
Teachers can assign specific lessons through Freckle to better support and target student learning needs on a 1:1 basis. We strive to support each of our students and their God-Given unique dignity in all that we do. Learning supports and interventions are a critical component of their success. Through Freckle, teachers provide student-specific intervention and support for each unique math and literacy learning concept or skill.
