Deacon Mike Madden

Deacon Mike Madden is the pastoral minister for St. Clare School.  He was ordained to the permanent diaconate for the diocese of Green Bay in 2002, and is a retired physician.  He received his MD degree in 1976 from Vanderbilt University, in Nashville, TN, his MBA degree in 2008 from University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and his Master’s Degree in Pastoral Theology from St. Joseph College of Maine, in 2015. 

As a proud grandpa himself, Deacon Mike revels in being a ministerial presence among the staff and kids of the school.  He is constantly amazed at the depth of the curiosity and the faith of the students, and the compassion and sensitivity of the teachers.  He hopes to bring all to a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ as he assists at school Masses, and visits the classrooms.
