This is my 8th year at St. Clare Catholic School. My husband Nick and I have a daughter named Zoe who is 22, a daughter named Lilli who recently graduated from St. Clare’s and is a Junior at Wrightstown High School, and a daughter named Alli that attends St. Clare’s and she is in 8th grade. We chose to not only send our kids to a Catholic school, but to I also work for one because of the smaller family-like feel of the environment, and how religion is weaved into their every day lives. We love that all of the teachers know all of the students and vice versa. We think that it helps our children to grow, understand and live their best life as children of God. We also think it helps to prepare them to keep Jesus and God close to their hearts as they grow and go out into the world. I have a degree in Elementary Education, with a minor in early childhood. I’ve spent the last 19 years teaching, aiding and subbing at every age from infant to 8th grade. I love teaching and working with children, as it is so fulfilling and I love getting to know each of their unique personalities. At home we have a dog named Gizmo, and two bunnies named Daisy and Lucy. As a family we like to hang out, watch movies, play games and go on trips.
What I love about Catholic Education and the St. Clare Community:
I love that our school feels like a family! I am able to get to know all of our students and their families beyond just my classroom. The wonderful students, parents, and coworkers make it a very enjoyable place.
At St. Clare's, we are able to dive deeply into our thoughts and feelings about faith, God, and getting to know Jesus. I also love that we are able to have much more 1:1 attention with each student in our classes and can support their learning to the fullest extent possible.
