My name is Cathy DeGroot, I am the 2nd grade teacher at St. Clare Catholic School. I am a graduate of UW-Oshkosh with a BS degree in Elementary/Middle Level Education and a Minor in Reading. I love working in a Catholic school, where I am able to integrate
faith and love of Christ into our daily lessons and activities. I have been fortunate to teach in this parish since 1990! I enjoy being part of the St. Clare family, working with wonderful students, parents, and staff. I feel blessed that our school parents share their children with me! In my free time, I enjoy reading, watching sports, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.

What I love about Catholic Education and the St. Clare Community:
My husband and I grew up attending Catholic schools. Our Catholic education is a part
of what makes us who we are today. I love that I am able to share my faith with my
students and incorporate it into everything we do throughout our day.
