BSE Mathematics from UW Oshkosh, 1995 +42 Graduate Credits in area of Education Wis. DPI License Type: T001-Teacher
I teach students math, religion and social studies in grades 6 thru 8. I have been teaching in Catholic schools for the past 24 years (10 years at St. Clare) and can’t imagine doing anything else! I have a BS degree in Math Education from UW Oshkosh in grades 6 - 12 and I love my Catholic faith, so for me this is the best of both worlds. I have a special love for the Saints of our Catholic Church and enjoy teaching St. John Paul II’s Theology of the Body to the eighth graders. Middle School students are my favorite age as they are so interested in learning about the truth in the world. I appreciate that St. Clare school ranges from grades PK - 8, which results in a strong family like bond between students families and staff.
What I love about Catholic Education and the St. Clare Community: I appreciate Catholic Education because my Catholic Faith is important to me. It is beautiful to be able to teach all subjects and incorporate God and our faith as we go. Catholic Education is fully rounded! I also really enjoy the country and small town atmosphere of St. Clare Parish. People work together and look out for each other.
